Our Story

How Zionhill
Came to Be

Zionhill Metro Church was born out of a simple but powerful conviction: that the church should be a place where everyone belongs. Not just the churched, not just the already-convinced — but the unchurched, the seekers, the generation that the world had given up on.

Under the leadership of Pastor James Rosh and Pastor Tryphosa Rosh, what started as a small gathering of passionate believers has grown into a vibrant multi-campus church with a presence in Sango Ota, Ogun State, and Lagos.

We have enlisted, and are still enlisting, men and women for the Kingdom. Our journey is far from over — the best is still ahead.

The Beginning

Zionhill Metro Church is Founded

What began as a small, passionate gathering of believers with a big vision — to reach the unchurched and build a family for generation next — grew into what Zionhill is today.

Growth

Sango Ota Flagship Campus Established

The church found its home at MAO Events Center, Ijoko Road, Sango Ota, Ogun State — a landmark that would become a place of encounter, healing, and transformation for thousands.

Expansion

Lagos Campus Launched

In response to growing demand and God's clear leading, Zionhill opened its Lagos Campus — extending the family and the mission to one of Africa's greatest cities.

Today & Beyond

Going Global

With a vibrant online community of 3,000+ followers, active MAP groups, and a growing congregation across two campuses, Zionhill Metro Church continues to grow — and the best is yet to come.
